Audience

Course module will be deployed Fall ‘21

Assumes basic understanding of/competency in computing, Math 13 is a prerequisite, Requires programming in R

Other applicable courses that may benefit from this module: Any statistics class may find these modules useful including Econ/Govt/Math 10.

Project Summary

Primary Objective

Introduce students to basic functional R commands/procedures whilst tying in key statistical content. Give novice students competence in R and challenge experienced students.

Goals

  1. Implement preexisting ‘RX’ exercise in Jupyter Notebook

  2. Add interactive functionality

  3. Document instructional material for usage of Notebooks

  4. Build Additional Homework sets and solutions in Jupyter Lab

Content Outline

  • Video guiding students on how to download and use the Jupyter notebooks

  • Jupyter notebooks to help teach students the basics of R

    • HWs (graded) intended to build off of exercises (ungraded)
